Tip: paste a list from a spreadsheet or document — each line becomes a segment.

What to Eat Wheel
Can't decide what to eat? Spin the what-to-eat wheel for a random meal or cuisine and end the "I don't mind, you pick" loop.
End the “what do you want?” — “I don’t know” loop
The hardest part of dinner is often deciding on it. Both people have a mild preference and neither wants to be the one who chose wrong. A what to eat wheel breaks the deadlock in one spin, and because the wheel picked, nobody has to defend the choice.
The default wheel has a spread of everyday options — pizza, sushi, burgers, tacos, pasta, ramen, salad, curry and more. Swap in your own.
Build a wheel that fits your kitchen
- Cooking tonight? List dishes you have ingredients for. The wheel becomes a “use what’s in the fridge” picker.
- Ordering in? List the places that deliver to you. Add each one once, or twice for the favourites.
- Eating out? List restaurants within a sensible distance. Remove anywhere you went this week.
- Meal planning? Spin seven times with Remove the winner after each spin on to rough out a week with no repeats.
How to use it
- Edit the entries box so it matches what is actually available to you right now.
- Optionally set a title like “Friday dinner” in Advanced options.
- Spin. Read the result, agree on it, or use your one veto and spin again.
- Keep the wheel — next time it opens with your list ready.
Why it works
A wheel converts an open-ended question (“what do you feel like?”) into a closed one (“are we OK with this specific option?”). The second question is much easier to answer, and most of the time the answer is “sure, fine” — which is all you needed.
Frequently asked questions
Should I put dishes or restaurants on the wheel?
Either works. Use cuisines or dishes when you are cooking or ordering broadly; use specific restaurant names when the question is really "where do we order from tonight".
How do we handle someone vetoing the result?
Agree on one veto each before spinning. If the result is vetoed, spin again. Two vetoes on the same spin and you cook the third option.
Can I save our usual options?
Yes. Your edited list is stored in this browser, so the next time you open this page your custom wheel is still here. Use "Copy share link" to send it to a partner or housemate.
